The bibliography, compiled by former librarian John Sigwald, is a list of books, research papers, and publications that reference people and places of Hale County, Texas.

The print editions are available at the library for $30.00 for a comb bound copy and $50.00 for a hardcover. Supplement to the bibliography is free with the book purchase.

Records may include name variations, birth, death and marriage dates, spouse's and parents' names; military service; funeral home; the name of the cemetery with location within the cemetery, notes and obituary. Database can be searched by name or date.
