1. Where is the public library located in Plainview?

The Unger Memorial Library is located on the corner of Ninth and Austin streets at 825 Austin Street.

2. How can I get a library card?

If you are over 18 years old you, will need a Texas driver's license or Texas ID issued by the Department of Public Safety. Anyone under the age of 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign for them.

3. What services does the library offer?

The Unger Memorial Library has a circulation of 50,000 books, 2,000 DVDs, 1,000 books on CD; access to 15 public internet computers with Microsoft Office programs; reference services; and inter-library loan services.
