Are you prepared if a disaster strikes? Most of us aren't --

To help citizens be more prepared for a disaster, the City of Plainview has included serval documents from the www.ready.gov website to assist with disaster preparedness including items for an emergency kit, important documents to have available and how to care for pets.

Also, September is National Preparedness Month. In 2023, the focus is emergency preparedness for older Americans and those who are disabled. Below is five (5) different areas of information pertaining to emergency preparedness:
