The City of Plainview City Council invites the public to join them for an Open House on Tuesday, May 14th from 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. at the Plainview City Hall, 202 W. 5th Street.
The reception will honor reelected Mayor Charles Starnes, reelected Council Members Evan Weiss and Lorie Rodriguez and outgoing Council Member Susan Blackerby.
Council Member Blackerby served on the City Council for ten years and as Mayor Pro Tem for six years; she will complete her term after the District Five runoff election is complete.
After the reception, Oaths of Office will be administered in the Council Chambers at 6:30 p.m.
