Plainview Mayor Charles Starnes had the honor of presenting new notebook computers to three Plainview High School seniors last Tuesday, August 20th.
Students receiving computers are Braeson Juarez, Richard Gaitan and Gavin Ballesteros. After graduation, the seniors plan to attend college; Juarez - South Plains College, Gaitan – West Texas A&M and Ballesteros – Texas Tech.
The computers are funded through an AT&T contribution to Human I-T and given to the Communities in Schools of the South Plains, a grant program administered by the South Plains Association of Governments (SPAG) which distributes them to local students.
