In partnership with Keep Plainview Beautiful, the City of Plainview’s Recycling Center will host an Open House on Friday, November 15th from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. in conjunction with Texas Recycles Day. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.
City staff will be on hand for tours, present recycling information and answer questions about the City’s program.
During the event, staff will also be accepting Electronics (no batteries) including TVs, microwaves, computers and other items considered as E-Waste.
Texas Recycles Day is a statewide campaign aimed towards education and awareness about the benefits of waste reduction and recycling. It is in conjunction with America Recycles Day.
Keep Plainview Beautiful (KPB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to city beautification through various programs aimed at cleaning up litter, reducing waste, recycling when possible and educating local citizens. KPB is an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful.
