In recognition of World AIDS Day, the Hale County Health Department will offer free HIV testing on Monday, December 1, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Health Department.
World AIDS Day is observed annually on December 1 to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, show support for those living with the virus, and remember those who have lost their lives to AIDS-related illnesses. Early detection through testing is a critical step in preventing the spread of HIV and ensuring timely access to care and treatment.
The Hale County Health Department encourages all community members to take advantage of this free and confidential service. No appointment is necessary.
