The Jimmy Dean Museum

Jimmy Dean grew into an entertainment and business powerhouse, marketing his own brand of sausage while entertaining millions through his television and music career.

Flying Queens Museum

The Flying Queens Museum is a women's collegiate basketball team from Wayland Baptist University. They are widely known for their record-breaking winnings and international reach.

Museum of the Llano Estacado

From prehistoric animals roaming the plains to the nomadic native Americans and early settlers, the history of the Llano Estacado is as vast as its geographical expanse.

Plainview Point

The Plainview Point Monument, near 300 Joliet Street and along the Plainview Hike & Bike Trail, is a national historical marker that recognizes the place near the Runningwater Draw where distinctive spearpoints were discovered and associated with the fossilized remains of about 100 extinct bison.

Enjoy the pavilion area while looking at buffalo statues as you imagine what it was like 1000's of years ago.

Plainview Aquatics Center

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, take a swim at Plainview's newest water adventures. From a wading pool, slides, rock climbing and plenty of cabanas, there is something for everyone. 

Make sure to visit the City's website in the Spring for updates about opening date, times, private parties and cost.
